GRANT OF INCREASE IN PENSION TO PENSIONERS OF THE FEDERAL
GOVERNMENT

The President has been pleased to sanction an increase @ 17.5% of net pension with effect from 1st July, 2023 until further orders to all Civil Pensioners of the Federal Government including Civilians paid from Defence Estimates as well as retired Armed Forces Personnel and Civil Armed Forces Personnel.

2) The increase in pension @ 17.5% as mentioned at para-1 above will also be admissible to the pensioners who would retire on or after 01.07.2023.

3) For the purpose of admissibility of increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. the term “Net Pension” means “Pension being drawn” minus “Medical Allowance”.

4) The increase will also be admissible on family pension granted under the Pension-cum-Gratuity Scheme, 1954, Liberalized Pension Rules, 1977, on pension sanctioned under the Central Civil Services (Extra Ordinary Pension) Rules as well as on the Compassionate Allowance under CSR-353.

5) If the gross pension sanctioned by the Federal Government is shared with any Government in accordance with the rules laid down in Part-IV of Appendix-III to the Accounts Code, Volume-l.

The amount of the increase in pension will be apportioned between the Federal Government and the other Government concerned on proportionate basis.

6) The increase in pension sanctioned in this O.M. will not be admissible on Special Additional Pension allowed in lieu of pre-retirement Orderly Allowance and monetized value of a driver or an orderly.

وفاق کے پنشنرز کو پنشن میں اضافے کی منظوری

حکومت پاکستان فنانس ڈویژن (ریگولیشن ونگ)

صدر نے نیٹ کے 17.5 فیصد اضافے کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔
پنشن یکم جولائی 2023 سے وفاقی حکومت کے تمام سول پنشنرز بشمول دفاعی تخمینہ سے ادا کیے گئے شہریوں کے ساتھ ساتھ مسلح افواج کے ریٹائرڈ اہلکاروں اور سول آرمڈ فورسز کے اہلکاروں کو اگلے احکامات تک۔

2) پنشن میں 17.5% کا اضافہ جیسا کہ اوپر پیرا 1 میں بتایا گیا ہے۔
ان پنشنرز کے لیے قابل قبول ہے جو 01.07.2023 کو یا اس کے بعد ریٹائر ہو جائیں گے۔

3) اس میں منظور شدہ پنشن میں اضافے کی منظوری کے مقصد سے
O.M اصطلاح “نیٹ پنشن” کا مطلب ہے “پینشن نکالی جا رہی ہے” مائنس “میڈیکل الاؤنس”۔

4) اضافہ فیملی پنشن پر بھی قابل قبول ہوگا۔
پنشن-کم-گریچوٹی سکیم، 1954، لبرلائزڈ پنشن رولز، 1977، سنٹرل سول سروسز (ایکسٹرا آرڈینری پنشن) رولز کے تحت منظور شدہ پنشن کے ساتھ ساتھ CSR-353 کے تحت ہمدردی الاؤنس پر۔

5) اگر وفاقی حکومت کی طرف سے منظور شدہ مجموعی پنشن کا اشتراک کیا جاتا ہے۔
اکاؤنٹس کوڈ، والیم-l کے ضمیمہ III کے حصہ IV میں طے شدہ قواعد کے مطابق کوئی بھی حکومت۔

پنشن میں اضافے کی رقم وفاقی حکومت اور دیگر متعلقہ حکومتوں کے درمیان تناسب کی بنیاد پر تقسیم کی جائے گی۔

6) اس O.M میں منظور شدہ پنشن میں اضافہ پر قابل قبول نہیں ہو گا۔
قبل از ریٹائرمنٹ آرڈرلی الاؤنس کے بدلے میں خصوصی اضافی پنشن کی اجازت دی گئی ہے۔
