According to the news published in Dainik Jang, a 30% increase in salary and pension is expected in the upcoming budget 2023-2024 for civil and military employees in Pakistan.

As per the latest updates, the federal government may increase the salary by 15%-30%.

Given the current situation of the country and the rapidly rising inflation, the current salary or pension of government employees is not enough to meet their basic needs.

The increase in rent also compels the employees to demand for increasing the House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said in the cabinet meeting that he is well aware of the problems of the middle and lower classes.

The continuous increase in the prices of common commodities has an impact on the lives of the employees. They will try to increase salary and pension as much as possible.
