Pakistan Army has announced online registration for Armed Forces Nursing Services (AFNS) Jobs 2023 through official website https://www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk/. Aspirants from all over Pakistan can apply online at AFNS.
Online registration will start from 29 May to 30 June 2023. Applicant must have Intermediate (F.Sc premedical).
With AFNS, candidates appearing in F.Sc Part-II examination (with 50% marks in 1st year) can apply with a hopeful, duly signed by the Principal of the concerned college/institution for securing 50% marks.
After declaration of Part II result candidates should immediately submit the mark sheet of F.Sc.
In the case of trained nurses, candidates applying as trained health professionals should be registered with Pakistan Nursing Council PNC.
Preference will be given to qualified individuals having post basic specialized courses i.e. ICU, OT, CCU etc. from hospital/ institute recognized by Pakistan Nursing Council (PNC).

Eligibility Criteria for AFNS Jobs 2023
- Armed Nursing Services (AFNS):
Nationality: Citizens of Pakistan and permanent residents of Azad Kashmir/Gilit Baltistan. After final selection, dual nationality candidates will have to give up their non-Pakistani nationality.
Education: Matric with science subjects (60% marks) + F.Sc (pre-medical) (50% marks)
Age limit: 17-25 years (as on 31 December 2023)

Marital Status: Single/Widow/Separated/Divorced No Encumbrances
Height: 5 feet (152.4 cm)
- Trained nurse as lieutenant:
Domicile: Sole permanent resident from Balochistan, KPK and Gilgit
Education: B.Sc Generic Nursing Only (No Diploma holder candidate is eligible)
Age limit: 18-28 years (as on 31 December 2023)
Gender Female
Marital Status: Married/Single
Height: 5 feet (152.4 cm)
How to Register Online for AFNS Jobs 2023?
To join AFNS aspirants should register online at Pakistan Army official website www.joinpakarmy.gov.pk
The date and time of the exam will be indicated on the individual’s email address. Once entered, the date will not be changed.
Candidates will also bring the documents (listed in the advertisement) with them and pay the prospectus fee on the day of the exam. Applicants must acquire computer skills.
Online Registration is open from 28 May to 30 June 2023.

- Preliminary Tests:
Includes written/intelligence/personality tests. Visit the official website for the exam ticket. Exact date of exam will be printed on your exam slip/roll no.
- Preliminary Selection:
Candidates undergo an entrance medical test at Army Selection and Recruiting Centers (AS&RCs).
- Next Tender Procedure:
Interviews of successful candidates by Directorate General (GHQ) selection board will be held at Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi for which separate call letters will be issued.
Successful applicants will receive an invitation for an interview. Final selection will be made at GHQ based on the overall performance of the candidate.
- Documents Required at AS&RC:
Candidates will deposit the following documents at Army Selection and Recruiting Centers (AS&RCs):
Original certificates / documents / letters with detailed marks along with two attested photocopies of each educational certificate /degree.
Candidates who are working in a government institution will issue a No Objection Certificate (NOC) of the concerned establishment.
Certified photocopy of residence.
Photocopy of computerized national identity card. 3 × Color photographs duly authenticated (front and back).
Crossed Postal Order of Rs.100/- in favor of Director General of Personnel Administration (DGPA), Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi.
- Training Period:
BSc Nursing: 4 x years training at AFGMI Rawalpindi, CMH Lahore, CMH Kharian, CMH Multan, CMH Quetta, PNS Shifa Karachi.
Trained Nurses: 6 x week basic military training at AFPGMI Rawalpindi and CMH Kharian.
Note:
Upon successful completion of training, he will be awarded a commission in the rank of lieutenant.
- Bond:
Finally, selected candidates will be required to sign a commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of ten years of Bachelor of Nursing before beginning training.
