How to apply for Pakistan Railways?
- The application form can be downloaded online through Pakistan Railways website www.pakrail.gov.pk or obtained from the office of Assistant Personnel Officer, Pakistan Railways Transport Factory, Islamabad.
- Applicants must submit all education/skill certificates/documents, experience certificate, character certificate, address, CNIC, two recent passport size photographs, postal address and two envelopes with gazetted stamps along with the application form. Required Obtain signature from registered postal/courier service/office.
- The applicant’s qualifications are determined based on the applicant’s qualifications, experience, practical exam, and interview.
- Applicants who have not been issued a final transcript are not eligible to apply.
- A roll number containing information about the center, exam time and date will be sent to the designated mailing address prior to the practical exam/interview.
- Applicants must submit original documents at the time of interview.
- This service is entirely contract-based and there is no future regularization.
The selected candidate must
- To pass a certain health examination
- It must be verified by security agencies.
- The following quotas are also observed:
- The quota for minorities/non-Muslims was fixed at 5%.
- A 1% quota is set for orphaned children.
- For former military personnel, the quota is fixed at 10%.
- Children of railroad workers will be allocated 20%, and children of deceased railroad workers will be allocated 2%.
- If the information provided by the applicant is found to be false or false, the candidate’s position will be canceled and legal action will be taken against the candidate.
- TA/DA is not allowed.
- The competent authorities reserve the right to refuse any application/request without specifying reasons and the number of posts may also vary.
- Qualified applicants will be called for a test interview.
