It is an undeniable fact that the common man is leading a miserable life owing to the unprecedented inflation these days. This price hike, particularly of essential commodities, has a number of causes including unjust profiteering, imbalances in demand and supply, and definitely.

In the nutshell, inflation has intensified the people’s suffering manifold, and the most affected segment is salaried class, be it of public sector or private sector. Every festivity of the life
tums a challenge for them. Most likely, they do not have any avenue for increase in their income as
well, and it is becoming day by day next to impossible for them to make both ends meet.
It must be appreciated that the Government of Sindh always comes up as a trendsetter for the public wellbeing issues. Particularly, Government of Sindh has always earned a lead by raising more than the Federal and other provincial governments at the time of budget, in the salaries and pensions of government employee.
I therefore, recommend you that in the forthcoming budget, salaries and pensions of the government employees may be raised at least 40% for extending a sigh of relief in their lives. also urge that the minimum wage may also be set atleast Rs 50,000/- (rupees fifty thousands) per month for the private sector’s employee in this budget. یہ ایک ناقابل تردید حقیقت ہے کہ عام آدمی ان دنوں بے مثال مہنگائی کی وجہ سے کسمپرسی کی زندگی گزار رہا ہے۔ قیمتوں میں یہ اضافہ خاص طور پر اشیائے ضروریہ کی بہت سی وجوہات ہیں جن میں ناجائز منافع خوری، طلب اور رسد میں عدم توازن اور یقینی طور پر شامل ہیں۔
ملک میں زبردست سیلاب، جس نے لاکھوں ایکڑ اراضی پر کھڑی فصلیں تباہ کر دیں۔
مختصراً یہ کہ مہنگائی نے عوام کی تکالیف میں کئی گنا اضافہ کر دیا ہے۔
متاثرہ طبقہ تنخواہ دار طبقہ ہے، خواہ وہ پبلک سیکٹر کا ہو یا نجی شعبے کا۔ زندگی کا ہر تہوار
ان کے لیے ایک چیلنج ہے۔ زیادہ تر امکان ہے کہ ان کے پاس اپنی آمدنی میں اضافے کا کوئی ذریعہ نہیں ہے۔
ٹھیک ہے، اور یہ دن بہ دن ان کے لیے ناممکن ہوتا جا رہا ہے کہ وہ دونوں سروں کو پورا کر سکیں۔
یہ بات قابل تعریف ہے کہ حکومت سند ہمیشہ عوامی فلاح و بہبود کے مسائل کے لیے ایک ٹرینڈ سیٹر کے طور پر سامنے آتی ہے۔ خاص طور پر حکومت سندھ نے ہمیشہ بجٹ کے وقت سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہوں اور پنشن میں وفاقی اور دیگر صوبائی حکومتوں سے زیادہ اضافہ کرکے برتری حاصل کی ہے۔
اس لیے میں آپ کو مشورہ دیتا ہوں کہ آئندہ بجٹ میں سرکاری ملازمین کی تنخواہوں اور پنشن میں کم از کم 40 فیصد اضافہ کیا جائے تاکہ ان کی زندگیوں میں راحت کی سانس بھر سکے۔ اس بات پر بھی زور دیتے ہیں کہ اس بجٹ میں نجی شعبے کے ملازم کے لیے کم از کم اجرت بھی کم از کم 50,000/- روپے (پچاس ہزار روپے) ماہانہ مقرر کی جائے۔
ہو سکتا ہے کہ آپ خود اس بات سے متفق ہوں کہ اگرچہ یہ اب بھی بڑھتی ہوئی مہنگائی کی حد کے مطابق نہیں ہے، تاہم، یہ یقینی طور پر ان کے گھریلو بجٹ کو ممکن بنانے میں مدد کرے گا۔
میں بجٹ کی تاریخوں سے پہلے اس مقصد کے لیے تمام رسمی کارروائیوں کو مکمل کرنے کے لیے متعلقہ دفاتر کو آپ کے مہربان احکامات کی بے تابی سے توقع کر رہا ہوں۔
