SBA Instructions 2023 Latest Notification

IMPLEMENTATION OF SBA 2023 SOPS IN SCHOOLS ACROSS THE PUNJAB

GOVERNMENT OF THE PUNJAB
SCHOOL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT SECTION (ER-I)
Dated Lahore, the 9th March, 2023

Punjab.
I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to state that Secretarty School Education has approved the following instructions for School Based Assessment (SBA) for Grades 1 to 8 in order to fair conduct and standardized marking of papers across the Punjab by the schools
a) Schools will generate its unique papers using IBS from their specific school
login and ensure that the same is being conducted by the schools. Any deviation will not be considered SBA as per approved Assessment Policy Framework and appropriate action will be taken against the delinquent schools/ districts.
IMPLEMENTATION OF SBA 2023 SOPS IN SCHOOLS ACROSS THE PUNJAB
b) During monitoring of SBA, the monitoring teams will scan QR Code to
ensure that the instructions contained in 1(a) are being implemented by the
schools.

c) The examination shall be conducted by the external examiners and not by
the teachers of the same school.
d) The standardized marking will be ensured by using keys and rubrics
available with the papers in IBS. Teachers will constraint from marking of
their class rather Principals Headmasters/ Head Teachers will ensure “cross marking” of papers by engaging teachers of other classes or schools.
e) The SBA is scheduled to commence from March 10th, 2023 and results will
be shared on March 31st,2023.
f) Assessment result of each student will be recorded on assessment register
and report cards based upon their grades will also be prepared and handed over to each student according to the notified.
I am therefore, directed to request you to implement the aforementioned instructions in true letter and spirit for successful completion of SBA.
g) The schools will ensure to maintain the record for third party validation by PEC on basis of random selection of schools / districts.

مجھے مندرجہ بالا مضمون کا حوالہ دینے اور یہ بتانے کی ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ سیکرٹری سکول ایجوکیشن نے گریڈ 1 سے 8 کے لیے سکول بیسڈ اسیسمنٹ (SBA) کے لیے درج ذیل ہدایات کی منظوری دی ہے تاکہ سکولوں کے ذریعے پنجاب بھر میں پرچوں کی معیاری مارکنگ کی جا سکے۔
a) اسکول اپنے مخصوص اسکول سے IBS کا استعمال کرتے ہوئے اپنے منفرد کاغذات تیار کریں گے۔
لاگ ان کریں اور یقینی بنائیں کہ اسکولوں کے ذریعہ بھی ایسا ہی کیا جارہا ہے۔ منظور شدہ اسسمنٹ پالیسی فریم ورک کے مطابق کسی بھی انحراف کو SBA نہیں سمجھا جائے گا اور قصوروار اسکولوں/اضلاع کے خلاف مناسب کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
پنجاب بھر کے سکولوں میں SBA 2023 SOPS کا نفاذ
ب) SBA کی نگرانی کے دوران، مانیٹرنگ ٹیمیں QR کوڈ کو اسکین کریں گی۔
یقینی بنائیں کہ 1(a) میں موجود ہدایات پر عمل درآمد کیا جا رہا ہے۔

c) امتحان بیرونی ایگزامینرز کے ذریعے لیا جائے گا نہ کہ اس کے ذریعے
اسی سکول کے اساتذہ

d) چابیاں اور روبرکس کا استعمال کرکے معیاری مارکنگ کو یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔
IBS میں کاغذات کے ساتھ دستیاب ہے۔ اساتذہ کو مارکنگ سے روکیں گے۔
ان کی کلاس کی بجائے پرنسپل ہیڈ ماسٹرز/ہیڈ ٹیچرز دوسری کلاسوں یا اسکولوں کے اساتذہ کو شامل کرکے پیپرز کی “کراس مارکنگ” کو یقینی بنائیں گے۔
e) SBA 10 مارچ 2023 سے شروع ہونے والا ہے اور نتائج
31 مارچ 2023 کو شیئر کیا جائے گا۔
f) ہر طالب علم کے اسسمنٹ کا نتیجہ اسیسمنٹ رجسٹر پر درج کیا جائے گا۔
اور ان کے درجات کی بنیاد پر رپورٹ کارڈ بھی تیار کیے جائیں گے اور مطلع شدہ کے مطابق ہر طالب علم کے حوالے کیے جائیں گے۔
اس لیے مجھے ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ آپ سے SBA کی کامیابی سے تکمیل کے لیے مذکورہ بالا ہدایات کو صحیح معنوں میں نافذ کریں۔
g) اسکول اسکولوں/اضلاع کے بے ترتیب انتخاب کی بنیاد پر پی ای سی کے ذریعہ تیسرے فریق کی توثیق کے ریکارڈ کو برقرار رکھنے کو یقینی بنائیں گے۔
