SPECIAL CLEANLINESS BEFORE OPENING OF SCHOOLS AFTER SUMMER VACATIONS 2023

SUBJECT : SPECIAL CLEANLINESS BEFORE OPENING OF SCHOOLS AFTER SUMMER VACATIONS

As you are well aware that summer vacations are going to be expired
on 20th August, 2023.

The Authority has directed to ensure clean and dengue-free environment in schools and all requisite measures as per following anti-Dengue SOPS must be taken before opening of schools.

Cleanliness (premises, toilets, water tanks etc.)
Inspections of roof tops
Removal of stagnant water
Grass Cutting from lawns/grounds
Removal of Junks/debris
Plugging of water leakages
Maintenance of vector free environment
Supervision of private schools for compliance of implementation of directions on Dengue
Display of anti-Dengue awareness charts

2) It is important to remember that dengue prevention is a collective effort and requires ongoing vigilance to ensure the safety and health of students and staff.

Keeping in view of the above, you are hereby requested to direct all the DEOS, Dy. DEOS, AEOS, Head of schools and anti-Dengue focal persons to ensure compliance of the above said directions in true letter and spirit, as well as anti-dengue activities based snaps must be uploaded on dengue dashboard.
