TRAINING OF POLLING PERSONNEL IN RESPECT OF PROVINCIAL
GENERAL ELECTIONS OF PUNJAB ASSEMBLY (2023)

SUBJECT: ELECTION COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN TRAINING OF VOTING PERSONNEL IN RELATION TO PUNJAB PROVINCIAL GENERAL ELECTION (2023).

Sir,
I am directed to refer to the above subject and state that the competent authority has approved the following training plans regarding the subject trainings:

(i). Two-day training for chairpersons and Sr. APOS (Appendix-A).
(ii). Half Day Orientation Sessions for APOS and Electoral Officers (Annexure-B).

The terms/details of the training are as follows:
(a) The training/sessions will be conducted as per the following schedule.

02 Daily training of chairmen
and with APOS
26 April to 07 May 2023
Half-day orientation session for
APOS and election officials.
8 to 11 May 2023
(b) Training will commence daily at 08:00 and will be conducted as per instructions
agenda.
(c) Deployment of Master Trainers and Grouping
(participants) will be the responsibility of the respective REC / DEC.
(d) The appropriate REC/DEC shall provide/identify training sites
(government owned buildings) and will also ensure flawless security during training with the help of District Administration and Police / Security personnel.
(e) Printing of training materials and photocopying (if required) will be the responsibility of PEC Punjab. Soft copy of all relevant training materials (Handbook, Leaflet, Placemat etc.) has already been shared with PEC Punjab.
The relevant RECS and DECS will facilitate training teams to nominate a contact person at each training site to facilitate trainers and ensure participant participation.
