MINUTES OF MEETING REGARDING PREPARATION OF 6TH SEPTEMBER, 2023 DEFENCE DAY PLAN

A meeting was held on 02.09.2023 in the office of the District Education Officer (SE) Faisalabad. The Director (SE) Faisalabad Division, Faisalabad chaired the meeting.

Participants:

The Additional Director (Admn), Faisalabad Division, Faisalabad.
The Additional Director (General), Faisalabad Division, Faisalabad
The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), Faisalabad.
The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), Toba Tek Singh.
The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), Jhang.
The Chief Executive Officer (DEA), Chiniot.
The District Education Officer (SE), Faisalabad.
The Assistant Director (Finance) O/O the CEO (DEA), Faisalabad.
The Deputy District Education Officer (General) O/O the DEO (SE), Faisalabad.

The meeting was started with recitation of the holy Quran. The chair welcomed all the participants and informed them about the objectives of the meeting. The school Education Department is going to celebrate the defence day with zeal and enthusiasm. A circular has already been circulated to all the Chief Executive Officers (DEA) across the Punjab. That meeting is also arranged for inspiration and sensitized the importance of the defence day.

The following decisions with the consensus of the participants were taken.

National Flag badge will be displayed on the dress/ uniform by students as well
as teachers.
Flexes of the martyrs with brief history will be displayed at prominent places in
the selected schools.
National Flag will be hoisted in the defence day ceremony.
Three topics of Urdu speech for the significance of defence day and patriotism
were proposed,

شہید کی جو موت ہے قوم کی حیات ہے .C

The artwork of the students will be displayed at prominent place of the school.
The participants of all the events must be encouraged by awarding medals and
certificates.
All the focal persons will visit the selected schools for monitoring the preparation
of defence day and submit their individual reports on Google forms regularly.
Chief guests for the defence day ceremony will be preferred retired Army
Personnel and Family Members of Martyrs.
The chair also directed all the Chief Executive Offocers (DEA) to expedite the
promotion cases of all categories of teaching and non teaching staff.
